The Elephant & Castle, Linslade

The former Elephant & Castle, LinsladeLocation: Station Road
History: This Inn was built circa 1840 and faced the original railway station. By 1859, extra railway lines had been added with the result that a new station had to be built a short distance further south, and behind the Elephant & Castle. The pub finally closed in the 1960's.
