"FLY PAST created by artist David Mayne in 2005, depicts key events and symbols of our town's heritage from its cultural, agricultural and industrial past through to the present day. Its centre piece represents the propeller of the Vimy bomber biplane crafted until 1919 by the Morgan & Co. factories previously sited at Vimy Road.

Designs created through participatory workshops with the pupils of Leighton Middle School, members of Leighton Buzzard Arts Society and residents of Tudor Court.
