In the name of God Amen I Thomas Manne of Standbridge in the parish
of Leighton Bussard in the Countie of Bedf[ord] yeoman being sick
in body but in good and perfect memorie (thankes be given to God)
doe make this my last will and Testament in manner and forme followinge
First I bequeath my soule into the hands of Allmighty god trusting
assuredly thorough the death and meritts of the lord Jesus Christ
my onely Saviour and Redeemer to have eternall life in the kingdome
of heaven my body I comitt to the earth from whence it was taken
decently to be buried at the discretion of my Executours hereafter
named as for and concerning my temporall estate wherewith it hath
pleased Allmightie God to blesse me I dispose of it after this
manner First I give and bequeath unto my sonne Thomas Man ten poundes
of lawfull money of England to be payed to him or his Assignes
by my sonne William when he shall accomplish the age of twenty
foure yeares Item I give unto my sonne John Manne twenty poundes
of good and lawfull money of England to be payed to him by my sonne
William Manne at his age of twenty and five yeares Item I give
unto my daughter Jane Manne ten poundes of like lawfull money of
England to be payed to her by my sonne William Manne at her age
of twenty and one yeares I likewise give unto my foresayed daughter
Jane all the houshold goods within my house after the death of
my wife Joane Manne Item I give and bequeath unto my two younger
sonnes Robert Manne and Edward Manne five Acres of leaseland lying
in Standbridge feild equally to be divided betweene them Item my
will and Testament is that if my sonne William shall depart this
life before my children aforesayd shall accomplish the terme of
yeares expressed that then my next borne and soe the rest successively
shall pay and discharge the legacyes aforesayd Provided that if
my wife Joane shall survive the tyme appointed when my sonne William
should pay his brethren and Sister their portions then hee shall
forbeare and not pay them untill after the decease of his mother
my wife Joane Manne and if my sonn William dy before his mother
his other brethren shall have the same liberty to pay the legacies
successively as is aforesayd expressed lastly my will is that my
wife Joane Manne shall pay all my debts and be my whole Executrix
I[n] witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seal the
day and yeare above written. I desire that my brother Robert Manne
of Cranfeild in the County of Bedf[ord], and my brother Richard
Barnwell of Willen in the countie of Buck[ingham] would bee pleased
to be feoffees in trust and overseers of this my last will and
