June the second day
1658
In the name of God Amen I Gabriell Hogge of Stanbridge in the County of Bedford findeing my selfe sicke and weake of body but in perfect memory god bee praysed for it doe make this my last will and testament in manner and forme as here Followeth Inprimis first I give and bequeath unto my sonne Gabriell Hogge six acres of land lyeing in Stanbridge Feilds which my father gave mee by deed And alsoe I doe give unto my sonne Gabriell seaven acres and a halfe of land more which I bought of Beniamin Hogge by lease lyeing in the same Feilds aforesaid uppon this Condition that the aforesaid Gabriell Hogge shall pay unto my daughter Frances Hogge his sister the summe of thirty pounds when hee cometh to the age of twenty and two yeares old but if my sonne Gabriell shall neglect the paiment of this money unto his sister Frances when hee cometh to the age of two and twenty then it is my will that my daughter Frances shall have that seaven acres and a halfe of land which I bought of Beniamin Hogge but if the aforesaid Gabriell Hogge doth pay unto his sister Frances Hogge the summe above mentioned within three monthes after hee cometh to the aforesaid terme of yeares afore mentioned then I doe give unto him and his hence forever this thirteene acres and a halfe of land onely I doe reserve and give the profitt and benefitt of this land unto my executors untill my sonne Gabriell cometh unto the age of one and twenty yeares I give and bequeath unto my daughter Frances twenty pounds in money to bee paid unto her within one yeare after my decease by my executors and I doe give all the rest of my goods and Chattells unbequeathed unto William Hogge my brother and Anne Hogge my now wife whom I make my full and whole executors of this my last will and testament payinge all my debts and legacies whatsoever in wittnes hereunto I have putt my hand and seale the day and yeare above written ./. Gabriell Hogge. Sealed and delivered in the presence of Thomas Miller William Fenner Wiliam Hogge Jun[ior] ./.
