In the name of God Amen the second daye of November
in the yeare of o[u]r Lord god one thousand Six hundred Fiftye
& Seaven I Henry Quarrey of the Grannge in the parrish of Laighton
bussard in the Countye of Bedford miller being sicke & weake of
body yet of good and perfect remembrance praysed be God therefore
doe make and ordaine this my last will & testament in manner &
forme followeing (that is to saye) First & principally I yeeld
& submitt my soule into the handes of Almighty God my maker hopeing
to be saved by & through the merritts death & resurrecc[i]on of
Jesus Christ my Saviour and Redeemer & my body to the earth from
whence yt came to be buried in Christian buriall according to the
discretion of my executrix hereafter named And as touching my temporall
estate w[hi]ch God of his mercy hath beene pleased to bestowe upon
mee in this life I dispose of as Followeth (that is to saye) First
I give & bequeath unto my sonne Thomas one shilling & my best great
Coate And alsoe I give & bequeath unto my sonne Addam one shilling
& my great bible And alsoe I give & bequeath unto my sonne Henry
one shilling And alsoe I give & bequeath unto my daughter Martha
one shilling And alsoe I give & bequeath unto my daughter Anne
on shilling And alsoe I give & bequeath unto my daughter Joane
the some of Ten pounds of lawfull English money And alsoe I give
and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah the some of Ten pounds of lawfull
English money All w[hi]ch said twoe last legacyes of tenn pounds
apeece given to my twoe daughters Joane and Sarah I will shalbe
paid ymediately after the decease of my loveing wife Joane All
& singuler other my good & Chattells whatsoever not hereby mee
willed & bequeathed my debts & legacyes paid & my funerall expences
dischardged I will & bequeath unto my said loveing wife Joane whom
I make & ordaine to be sole executrix of this my last will & testament
utterlie revokeing & makeing voyd & null all former wills & bequeasts
whatsoever by mee made or done either by word or writeing In witnesse
whereof I have hereunto sett my hand & seale the day & yeare first
