1875 Exhibition Photo
<     1875 Working Men's Art and Industrial Exhibition - Photo 6 of 8     >

Photo showing an agricultural exhibit at the exhibition. Located in the temporary building called the annexe (as can be seen from the wooden boarding on the floor and what appears to be the roof). This display belonged to Mr Vallentine of Burcott. His display shows various crops grown in different types of soil and with natural and articial fertiliser.

Photo taken by the Leighton Buzzard photographers Messrs. Piggott. The original from which this scan has been taken is in the possession of The Rothschild Archive London, who have kindly given permission for it to be reproduced on this web site.
